Monic Menard, MSN, FNP-C
Monic is a family nurse Practitioner originally from the suburbs of Toronto, Canada. She moved to Charlotte County in 1991 where she obtained her Nursing Degree at Florida State College in 1997. Monic later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the University of St Francis and ultimately obtained a Master’s degree in Nursing while she completed a Family Nurse Practitioner program at Maryville University. She brings with her 25+ years of medical experience in multiple facets of medical care, including Orthopedics, Gastroenterology and family medicine. Monic’s interests are in health promotion and maintaining optimal health. She enjoys traveling, boating, and reading in her spare time and currently lives in North Port with her husband and 2 very spoiled retired greyhounds.
Kristy Rustico, Licensed Massage Therapist, MMP, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Licensed Skincare Specialist, Precision Nutrition Certified Coach
While studying skin therapy at the Dermalogica Academy in NYC, Kristy worked with clients as a personal trainer and nutrition coach, and realized that skincare, fitness, and nutrition were inextricably related. After several years of working in the field, she found that the art and science of massage therapy applied to her work in skincare and fitness alike. Kristy believes that there is a dynamic relationship between looking and feeling your best and the most effective results are achieved holistically. To expand her integrated approach and enhance her services, Kristy went on to study massage therapy at the American Institute of Alternative Medicine, where she became certified in medical massage as well.
Melanie Andrews, CCPA
Melanie is a Michigan transplant and proud graduate of the University of Michigan! She moved to Southeast Florida 3 days after graduation! Upon moving south, she taught preschool for almost 10 years before heading to the west coast of Florida, where she ventured into something new and started a career in the chiropractic field. Melanie completed the Certified Chiropractic Physician's Assistant course through Cleveland Chiropractic College in 2008, and became licensed with the state of Florida, the same year she came on board with Korman Relief & Wellness Center. Melanie and her husband are huge sports enthusiasts, and enjoy following her alma mater, as well as attending local sporting events of any nature! Family time is very important to the Andrews and includes activities with their son and four-legged, fur babies! So, when Melanie is not at the office, you can probably find her out on a kayak, attending a Stone Crabs game, or cheering on her Maize & Blue alma mater!
Brian Korman, Health Coach
Brian Korman (Dr. Korman’s Husband) is an integral part of our office, although you may not see him at the office in person. Brian help’s Dr. Korman with many offsite projects and marketing. Brian’s upbeat, positive energy is infectious, and his positive attitude contagious. His passion is to grow, shop for, and prepare food, and to help others with cooking ideas and nutrition.
Brianna Korman, Front Desk
Brianna Korman has worked “off and on” at Korman Relief & Wellness Center for many years. You will find Brianna at the front desk, and you will see her “coming and going” as she is likely to check you in and, when finished, she will likely be the staff member taking your payment, scheduling your next appointment, and wishing you a good rest of the day! Brianna is cheerful, friendly, knowledgeable and eager to take care of any needs that you may have.
